  1.  Vision and mission
    In order to meet the following objectives, the Iranian Journal of International relations reviews and publishes the scientific achievements of researchers:
    A) Improving the quality of research related to international relations, international security and peace studies and regional studies in the country
    B) Developing the scholarly research achievements of professors, students and researchers
    C) Establishing scientific and scholarly links between domestic and foreign researchers
    D) Updating knowledge of International politics, international relations and regional studies
    E) Introducing an Iranians' attitudes to the knowledge of politics and international relations and regional studies.
  2.  Ethical principles of publishing an article
    The journal is a member of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the executive regulations of the Law on Prevention and Combating plagiarism in Scientific Works.
    The Charter of Ethics in the Iranian Journal of International Relations is based on guidelines provided by the COPE Publication Ethics Committee, and all participants are expected to adhere to these ethical principles. Any plagiarism or other immoral conduct will result in the removal of the article from the arbitration process. These regulations are designed to determine the duties and responsibilities of authors, editor in chief, editorial staff, and judges.
  3. Acceptance of articles
    The chief editor of the journal is responsible for making a decision to accept or reject the submitted articles. The editor accepts the article with the help of the editorial board, taking into account issues related to copyright, plagiarism, etc., as well as the discretion of the judges and editors.
    The editor in chief and editorial board are responsible for judging articles solely in terms of academic competence and should act without bias or personal grudge or taking into account nationality, gender, religion and ethnic, racial and political issues.
  4.  Guide to the Authors of the Iranian Journal of International Relations
    Areas of acceptance of the article are: International Politics, International Security, International Political Economy, Foreign Policy, Regional Studies, International Law and Organizations, International Regimes, Theories of International Relations, International Institutions and Conventions, Security and Human Development, Environmental Issues, Wealth and Power, Emerging Economies, Historical Sociology of International Relations.
    The Iranian Journal of International Relations evaluates only articles by faculty member and doctoral students. Joint articles of postgraduate students with faculty members can also be reviewed, in conditions equal to the above explanations; priority is given to articles with a single author.
    The Iranian Journal of International relations prioritizes articles that address issues of greater importance to international relations and global issues relating to Iran.
    The title of the article should be clear, concise, and appropriate to the text in a maximum of ten words and express the importance, necessity and novelty of the research topic. The title should be very easy to understand. Do not use words such as review in the title. Do not use an abbreviation in the title and use common letters.
    Introduction should include research problem design, variables, questions, hypotheses, research methods and objectives.
    Clearly state the research problem, the variables, the question, the hypothesis, the method and the purpose of the research, so that it is clear what the research is trying to find?
    Do not reference in the introduction, in other words, the introduction should be processed in a way that does not require reference.
    The research method should be selected according to the research problem.
    This journal prioritizes explanatory research. And descriptive research that seeks to describe a phenomenon or concept will not be considered in the journal.
    The article should include a detailed review of the research literature around the research question.
    A review of the research literature helps the author to express to the readers the necessity and importance of researching the research issue.
    The content of the text should be carefully processed around the relationship or link of the variables.
    In text processing, evidence and data should be used appropriately and fairly to refute or prove a hypothesis.
    The data and evidence used in word processing must be documented in credible sources.
    The content of the text of the article should be processed in such a way that it is coherent and without breaks.
    In word processing, use words and concepts carefully.
    At the conclusion of the article, state the main findings in a way that reflects the fulfillment of the research goal. Findings should indicate an increase in the knowledge of the article and an increase in the research literature. Any useful conclusion based on the findings implies a review of a practical or theoretical procedure in the field of research.
    Formally, the article should include an abstract, introduction, theoretical approach, research literature, discussion, conclusion, and references.
    Abstract in 180 to 250 words, including the main findings, research method and keyword.
    Keywords should be associated with innovation and research innovation and be between three and five words.
    The number of words in the article, including footnotes and references, should be between 4.5 and 6 thousand words.
    References and bibliographies should be written within the text and in accordance with the guidelines provided by the APA (American Psychological Association).
    References used at the end of the article, the author's last name is listed in alphabetical order.
